A few things to know.
Simple tools deserve simple answers.
Are these image tools really free?
Yes. All three tools are free to use without an account. There are no payments or advertising scripts in this version.
Where do my images go?
Nowhere outside your device. The app reads your selected image into browser memory, processes it locally and creates a download. It does not upload your image to a server. Removing the image or closing the page releases the app's references; downloads you save remain on your device. The hosting provider may process normal web request information. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
Which formats and sizes can I use?
Use static JPG, PNG or WebP images up to 25 MB (25 × 1024 × 1024 bytes), 24 megapixels and 16,384 pixels on either side. Animated PNG and WebP files are rejected to avoid losing their animation. HEIC, GIF and SVG are not supported. Large files may be limited further by your browser's available memory.
Will compression always make my file smaller?
No. Results depend on the original image, format and quality. JPG and WebP offer adjustable lossy compression; PNG is lossless and ignores the quality setting. When a same-format compression would make the file bigger, we offer the original instead. Try WebP or a lower quality for smaller files.
What happens to transparency and metadata?
PNG and WebP can preserve transparency. JPG cannot, so transparent areas use your chosen background color (white in the resizer). Re-encoding removes the original EXIF metadata. When the compressor returns the original file, its metadata remains. Browser color conversion and lossy encoding may change colors or fine detail; keep your original.
